GET TO KNOW ME

The world is filled with people with no will to leave their comfort zone to pursue their dreams. Not me. Based out of North Wales and Stoke-on-Trent, my pursuit in the esports industry is continuing to speed up as I gain experience in the field of event management and community growth. I am committed to developing my knowledge in business management, particularly with the esports industry, as it continues to grow every year. Here I am, ready to make a name for myself.

I am willing to relocate if needed and/or happy to travel. Willing to relocate around the United Kingdom and abroad.

 
 

COMMUNICATIONS LEAD, STAFFS VIEWING

  • Lead the communications team for a student-run team for viewing parties at universities,

  • Handled liaison and social media for the event,

  • Hosted first viewing party 10th November 2019,

  • The event was attended by 122 people, with sponsorship from G2 Esports and Monster Energy.

MODERATOR, ESPORTS WALES

  • Moderator for Esports Wales after standing down as Chief Community Officer,

  • Maintaining social media and moderating chats on Discord and Twitch.

CHIEF COMMUNITY OFFICER, ESPORTS WALES

  • Organisation established to promote and help establish esports from the grassroots to the professional level within Wales,

  • Responsible for promoting and running community activities and events within Wales,

  • Working with companies and partners to help run community events including Belong Arenas.

  • Stood down for personal reasons.

July 2017 - August 2019

GENERAL ASSISTANT, SAINSBURY'S

  • General Assistant working on the shop floor helping stock items and providing customer service,

  • Joined shortly after completing GCSEs,

  • Worked as a supervisor, checkout assistant, customer service assistant, warehouse, co-checker.

  • Left in preparation for university.

April 2019

EXPO VOLUNTEER, INSOMNIA GAMING FESTIVAL

  • Volunteer at Insomnia Gaming Festival (i64) at their Esports expo area,

  • Ran Fortnite tournaments for up to 100 people at a time,

  • Dealt with crowd control and dealt with tournament registration (700+ at once).

MANAGER, NERDRAGE.PRO

  • Joined as a manager,

  • Primary duty was to develop and maintain an esports mobile event on Critical Ops,

  • Worked with game developers to run event,

  • Left early 2019 to pursue other opportunities.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, REACTIVE ESPORTS, LLC

  • Started as Social Media Manager, made my way to COO in March 2017,

  • Managed the organisation throughout its time in the competitive scene,

  • Stayed with the organisation until dissolved.

  • Studied at GCSE, English Language and Literature, Mathematics and Numeracy, Combined Science, Welsh, Religious Studies, History, Business Studies, Creative iMedia, Astronomy and Welsh Baccalaureate,

  • Studied at A-Level, Computer Science, Law and History.

  • Business and Events course based around esports and the competitive gaming scene,

  • Working with society SEES at Staffordshire University, helping run events and hosting esports events on campus.

EXCHANGE STUDENT, FLINTSHIRE JAPANESE YOUTH EXCHANGE

  • One of 6 British students taking part in a student homestay between the United Kingdom and Japan,

  • Spent 2 weeks with a Japanese student in the UK and 2 weeks with the student in Japan,

  • Experienced Eastern Asian culture and developed a greater understanding of their gaming and esports culture alongside networking with town councils in Northern Japan.
